Fluorescent lamps

Fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent bulbs that may contain mercury and are commonly managed through a separate recycling or universal-waste program.

Protect lamps from breakage and keep them boxed or otherwise secured during storage and transport; do not place them loose in a dumpster.
