Sharps

Items capable of cutting or puncturing skin, such as needles, syringes, lancets, scalpels, broken contaminated glass, and some medical instruments.

Sharps must go into approved puncture-resistant containers and should never be loose in bags, boxes, recycling, or ordinary dumpsters.
